He was born in Milan on the 12th of June 1921, where he got his artistic training and where he lives and works at the moment. He is an artist who doesn't create magical symbologies or asymmetries; he is fully aware of what he paints and feels; he loves identifying himself with the reality; with the regularity of the propotions to find the necessary integration of thought and culture. He is able to face the visual arts playing with their creative impulse; in this way he evidences his romantic ferments; he is always far away from chronic or childish figurations above all from the tragical and technological mechanicalism.He styles himself so: "I'm a decadent and a crepuscular artist. I don't have the car, I have never driven. I go on horseback. I spent my childhood among the neighs and the scents of stable...in the villa of Soncino with my grandparents. When I was 8 years old, I already rode".

When he was 10 years old, he realized 300 pen-drawings in which he represented the human path from the Stone Age to the I World War. His mother wanted him to become a layer, while his teachers guaranteed his future artistic performance. He dreamt of Brera, but he didn't have the longed for the permission and so when he was still young, he left as a voluntary with the regiment "Savoia Cavalry", participating in patrol actions in the steppe with the Squadron "Ghost". He attributed an essential value to his loved horses. He felt them neighing, pawing, galloping and he painted them with a sort of inspiration, emphasizing their force, their vigour and their beautiful propotions, without mortifying his palette, but exalting it because it represents his poetry, the real justification of his philosophy. Paintings of remarkable importance are those exhibited in Milan at Carini, Molteni, Guglielmi, Gussoni, Saint Ambrogio galleries and also in Rimini, Salsomaggiore, Brescia, Rovereto.

In 1982 he organized an Exhibition about Napoleonic Epos in Paris. He has partecipated to the most prestigious, national and international reviews, obtaining important recognitions and awards. His paintings are shown in numerous and important private and public collections, also in the museums of all over the world.
