"The sign of Grazia Mottes, both in painting and in sculpture, is always an office and biting poetic in the sense that she is able to return images of not only the most obvious external characteristics, but also the underground power of expression that makes effective and significant. Her nudes, in particular, in the mind to affect the unique ability to return a humanity of women, prey to an abnormal beauty: something stranger individually with the common, yet focused, practical and nobly in a kind of beauty carnal that often goes in metaphysics, a sign that remains in the hearts and minds of the beholder. "(Massimo Grillandi).
"Power, passion, humanity and sensitivity are the fundamental characteristics of the prevailing multifaceted and pictorial work of Grazia Mottes. (...) Mankind is expressed in situations like the paintings and pictures that go to hit the emotional centrality of each person as they radiates love for others and for nature: sea, sky and earth. But the common denominator of all the works is the search for escape from everyday life to enter a world exclusive, personal, refined by the sea naked, by the characters in allegorical paintings. And perhaps this constant evasion of reality that gives freshness at the paintings of Grazia Mottes results in genuine originality in performing every issue. "(Francesco Basso).
"Grazia Mottes finds her size when she is essential to isolate the scope of imagination and explore in an expressionist, creating forms and obsessive liberating at the same time, which are repeated pleas and stormy torments in the search for truth. Horses, women, sea immediately recognize that and yet we do not tire because mysteriously unfinished in a perpetual development in an effort to express themselves and that is to escape from prison time to join all the forces of nature and the great myths that have sprouted from them .
