He was born at Follo (La Spezia), on the 27th of February in 1960. He lives and works in Milan. He began his artistic activity about 25 years ago attending the Art Private School of Aldo Barletta Master. He continues his pictorial experience with the help of Aurelio Pedrazzini and Aldo Fornani Masters. Since 1980 he has been organizing personal exhibitions, partecipating in reviews in Milan, Como, La Spezia, Padova and receiving a lot of assents. His paintings are exposed in Milan, France, Abruzzo, Padova, in private collection and in permanence in Eustachi Art Gallery in Milan.

The journalist Enrica Garnelero has written: "He privileges the technique with the putty knife where the intensity of the colours flows down and materializes the impressions of the landscapes in a synthony of colour and grace that give oxygen to the artistic world. Not only he uses his unbridled immagination to represent different subjects, but sometimes such as the last "Bohemien" he paints old jobs, faces of sweet old people , last fires of now ended time, with exuberance. Certainly these expressions don't come from the memories, but from listening (and in this, he is very clever) the tales of the others. The enormous respect for the humanity makes him one of the most sensitive artist I know".
