“Vienna sul Lago” is not a lucrative ball because it is organized by a no-profit Committee, properly established that works for free. For the reliability of the initiative and of its organization, the manifestation undertook characteristics which distinguishes from other similar displays in Italy, making it particularly prestigious: Vienna sul Lago is in fact the only ball which takes place under the High Patronage of the Mayor of Wien and enjoys the prestigious patronage of the Ministery of Foreign Affairs, the Ministery of Defence, Ministery of Fine Arts, of the Austrian’s Embassies to the Quirinal and to the Holy See. The Debs’ cavaliers are the cadets of the Navy Academy of Livorno since twelve ball’s editions. Therefore Vienna sul Lago is the most important ball of Italy and one of the most important in all Europe.
