"Vienna sul Lago" isn't a commercial Ball, infact it is organized by a Committee without
no sake of gain, regularly established whose members give their own services
free. For the seriousness of the initiative and organization, the manifestation
has assumed features that clearly distinguish it from other similiar events
which take place in Italy, making it particularly glamorous: in fact "Vienna
sul Lago"is the only Ball which takes place under the High Patronage
of the Mayor of the City of Vienna. It also enjoys the glamorous Pleading
of the Foreig Office and the Embassies of Austria to the Quirinal and
the Holy See."Vienna sul Lago" is therefore the most
important Debs' Ball in Italy and one of the most important in Europe.
Vienna sul Lago will take place on the 30th of october 2004 in
Stresa at Regina Palace Hotel, an enormous and wonderful hotel built in
the nineteenth-century on the Lake Maggiore's shores.
The Committee offers: the white dress, in commodate (the outfits, for
example the shoes and the gloves (both white and compulsory) are not included).
On this matter we advise to buy the outfits at the PeterVest (a famous
firm in Novara placed at 145, Giulio Cesare Street. Tel. 0321402593, furnisher
of your dresses) with whom the Committee has agreed upon the price and
above all the colour and the size to obtain a homogeneous and scenographic
complex); the little crown that will remain as a present of the manifestation;
the make-up and the hairdressers for the evening on November, the 30th;
the dance-lessons; the transport-service to Stresa, Saturday's lunch and
Gala-dinner on November the 30th.
It will be requested a charity-offer to every deb, devolved to humanitarian Associations that will be defined afterwards.
Every lesson will take place in Novar; the time and the date will be given
on time (if there are variations) either in the morning and in the afternoon.
The Organizing Committee will suggest some suitable hotels.
One can join "Vienna sul Lago's Ball" only if he has been
invited by the Organizing Committee. The seats are reserved.
"Vienna sul Lago" offers also the possibility to partecipate
in the famous "Opernball" of Vienna that takes place every Thursday before
Shrove Tuesday at the "Opera Theatre" in Vienna, whose details can be
given to the Debs who want to partecipate.
To partecipate it needs to fill in the
Personal Card(htm), to sign it; if you are under age, you must sign
it together your parents and to send it to the Committee with a photo-card
and a bigger photo to publish on Internet ( if you don't want us to publish
your photos, you ought to point out expressly. We will please you surely).
Please don't stamp the photos on the personal card or other paper and
don't send the photos with other people but you. Your photos won't be
given back to you. We advise you to accompany your card with a personal
letter that talks about yourself and above all about the reasons that
induce you to take part in the Ball.
The Committee (considered all the requests) will decide the admission
(or not) of the candidates. Its opinion is not liable to criticism.
Every date (in these pages) could undergo variations. They will be communicated
on time.
